Supporting neurodivergent individuals who have been bereaved
This webinar is hosted by Head of Partnerships Sally Swann and special guest Sarah Helton; an educator who has worked in the SEND field for over 25 years. Sarah runs BackPocketTeacher, and is a consultant, author and trainer in the area of child bereavement, specialising in the needs of bereaved neurodivergent children.
During this webinar, Sarah will talk about the importance of neurodivergent children and adults (including those with learning disabilities) being acknowledged as grievers, and receiving appropriate bereavement support. She will provide advice on how to work with and support neurodivergent children and adults, discuss resources and signpost you to further support and training.
